Essential duties/responsibilities: Edit promotional videos to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and messaging, impacting audience engagement and brand perception. Identify and edit social media video clips tailored for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, facilitating effective communication with educators and decision-makers. Compile and edit video coverage of internal and external events for distribution, ensuring relevant stakeholders are informed and engaged. Collaborate with multimedia and design teams to maintain consistency across projects, enhancing overall content quality. Select and organize video footage, graphics, and sound elements for video productions, ensuring resources are readily available for efficient workflows. Implement feedback from editors and stakeholders to deliver completed videos on time, meeting project deadlines and quality standards. Manage video files by creating string outs and archiving project files, ensuring ease of access for team members. Ensure all video content adheres to company quality standards and deadlines, supporting brand integrity. Stay current with video editing trends and tools to enhance content production quality. Assist with other multimedia tasks, including basic graphic design or animation work, as needed to support team objectives. Required Job Skills and Abilities: Proficient in video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, and Media Encoder, to produce high-quality video content. Basic knowledge of motion graphics and graphic design tools such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator for supplementary visual elements. Experience editing content for social media platforms, with an understanding of aspect ratios and format requirements to optimize engagement. Ability to follow brand guidelines and project briefs to maintain brand consistency across all video outputs. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines. Capable of observing and absorbing information communicated through various formats, such as meetings and memos, to ensure alignment with project goals. Must submit to a background check on an annual basis to comply with relevant student protection requirements. Required Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience totaling at least 3 years in a professional editing role, in either a broadcast, commercial, or corporate environment. Proven experience in video editing and production relevant to promotional and social media content. Experience in education publishing, design, production, or marketing is preferred.
