Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Curriculum Specialist to join our team at Stream Technologies. The Curriculum Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing innovative, engaging, and accessible courses for our e-learning platform, focusing on STEM education and inclusivity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning our courses with various educational standards in the U.S. and other regions, while supporting the overall instructional design and implementation process. Key Responsibilities: • Curriculum Development: • Design and develop STEM-focused courses, lesson plans, and instructional materials for diverse learners, including students with disabilities. • Ensure courses are interactive, engaging, and support game-based and VR/AI learning experiences. • Align course content with U.S. education standards (e.g., Common Core, NGSS, ISTE) and international standards as required. • Standards Alignment: • Research and stay up-to-date with state, national, and international educational standards. • Ensure course materials meet compliance requirements for schools and educational institutions. • Customize curriculum for specific needs of clients (schools, districts, private institutions). • Instructional Guidelines: • Develop guidelines for instructors to ensure consistent delivery of course materials. • Create instructional strategies that promote active learning and measurable outcomes. • Provide professional development materials to instructors and junior staff as needed. • Quality Assurance: • Review and revise existing courses to improve quality, engagement, and alignment with evolving standards. • Conduct curriculum mapping and audits to ensure consistency, relevance, and accuracy. • Collaboration: • Work closely with the content creation team, instructors, and technical team to ensure seamless integration of courses into our e-learning platform. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including schools and educational institutions, to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments. • Reporting & Documentation: • Maintain documentation of curriculum standards, guidelines, and best practices. • Prepare reports on curriculum performance, alignment, and areas for improvement. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Education, Technolgy Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or related field. • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development and instructional design. • Familiarity or abiltiy with International and U.S. educational standards (STEM, Next Gen Science, ISTE) and international education systems. • Strong understanding of STEM education and experience with inclusive education strategies. • Knowlegde with technology platforms for kids (scratch, Unreal Engine etc) • Experience with e-learning platforms, game-based learning, or VR/AI-enhanced education is a plus. • Excellent communication, research, and project management skills. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of accessibility standards for learners with disabilities. • Experience working in both U.S. and international educational environments. • Familiarity with instructional tools such as LMS platforms, curriculum mapping software, and virtual learning environments.
