Job Responsibilities • Assist in preparing ingredients such as slicing vegetables, meats, and cheeses. • Prepare sandwich fillings, spreads, and sauces as per recipes or instructions. • Assemble sandwiches, wraps, and salads following menu specifications. • Ensure portion control and presentation consistency. • Wash, peel, and clean ingredients efficiently. • Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and tools after use. • Keep the work area clean and organized, following hygiene and safety standards. • Handle dishwashing duties as required. Stock Management • Assist in receiving, checking, and storing food supplies and ingredients. • Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of shortages. • Label and store food properly to maintain freshness and reduce wastage. • Assist chefs or senior kitchen staff as required. • Work efficiently to support food service during busy periods. • Maintain communication with team members for smooth workflow. Hygiene and Safety Compliance • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., sanitizing surfaces, wearing gloves). • Dispose of food waste and garbage properly. • Ensure proper handling and storage of perishable food items.
