The Role
About The Role
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Amazon Operations Specialist to manage and optimize our Amazon account and product listings. This role focuses on maintaining account health, enhancing product detail pages (PDPs), managing listings, launching new products, and implementing price changes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, improving customer experience, and driving operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Account Maintenance and Health:
• Monitor and maintain the overall health of the Amazon account, ensuring compliance with Amazon’s policies and guidelines.
• Proactively address account issues such as performance metrics, customer feedback, and violations.
• Resolve account suspensions, warnings, and disputes in a timely and effective manner.
• Regularly review account performance reports and implement strategies to improve key metrics.
Managing Product Detail Pages (PDP)
• Optimize PDP content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with Amazon’s best practices.
• Collaborate with the Creative and Marketing teams to enhance product descriptions, images, and keywords.
• Regularly audit PDPs to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or outdated information.
Managing Listings
• Oversee the creation, management, and optimization of product listings across Amazon’s marketplace.
• Ensure all listings meet Amazon’s standards for quality, compliance, and customer experience.
• Address and resolve listing issues such as suppression, incorrect categorization, and content discrepancies.
• Use data insights to improve listing performance and ranking on Amazon search results.
Launching Products
• Coordinate the end-to-end process of launching new products on Amazon, from listing creation to go-live.
• Ensure that all product information, images, and pricing are accurate and optimized for launch.
• Monitor product performance post-launch and implement improvements as needed.
Price Changes
• Manage and implement pricing updates for Amazon SKUs in line with market trends, promotional strategies, and internal guidelines.
• Monitor pricing compliance to avoid policy violations such as minimum advertised price (MAP) breaches.
• Analyze the impact of price changes on sales performance and recommend adjustments to optimize revenue and competitiveness.
Ideal Profile
Qualifications & Experience
• 3-4 years of experience in Amazon operations, e-commerce, or a related role.
• Proven track record of managing Amazon accounts and product listings.
• Expertise in Amazon Seller Central, including listing creation, performance monitoring, and account health management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve account or listing issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Familiarity with Amazon policies, guidelines, and best practices for account management and product listings.
• Understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimization for Amazon.
