Senior Specialist, E-Commerce Experience

Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Specialist, E-Commerce Experience to join our Digital Marketing team. This role focuses on optimizing our e-commerce experience, driving key performance indicators (KPIs), and enhancing the customer journey. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with WordPress, SEO strategy, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and a deep understanding of e-commerce user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization (CRO). Location: Remote Primary Responsibilities: • SEO Strategy: Implement and optimize SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and traffic. • User Experience Optimization: Identify and resolve pain points in the customer journey, enhancing satisfaction and increasing conversion rates. • Research: Develop a deep understanding of customer site behavior, purchasing funnels, and best practices within the cannabis industry. • Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, website performance, and customer behavior to identify trends and make data-driven decisions. • Conversion Rate Optimization: Identify opportunities to refine the customer journey and boost conversion rates, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. • Competitor Analysis: Track and analyze competitor activity to inform growth strategies. • Performance Reporting: Create and maintain regular KPI reports, providing actionable insights for stakeholders. • Customer Feedback & Usability: Use customer feedback and user testing to improve website functionality and the overall user experience. • E-Commerce KPI Optimization: Develop strategies to improve metrics like cart abandonment, average order value, site speed, and customer retention. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional partners, including Retail, Brand, and IT, to ensure smooth integration of updates and enhancements. • Monitor Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in eCommerce, analytics, and SEO. Job Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on e-commerce and user experience. • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. • Expertise in SEO implementation and optimization. • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), with strong skills in data analysis and reporting. • Strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills. • Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or large-scale retail environments; cannabis industry experience preferred. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines consistently. • Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Tag Manager. • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or other web development languages. • Ability to travel to stores up to 20% of the time for on-site assessments and collaboration. • Must be 21 years of age or older. Physical Requirements The position must occasionally lift, push, pull and or move up to 25 pounds. This position is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. This position is regularly required bend, stretch, squat, climb, twist, lift, grip, stand, and push/pull.
