Location: Creston, BC or REMOTE Position Summary The Communications and Engagement Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and executing communications strategies that enhance engagement with interest holders, clients, and employees. This role requires a skilled communicator who can create compelling content, manage digital channels, and foster connections that strengthen our brand. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure all projects and campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. • Develop and implement communication strategies. • Coordinate with project team members to gather and disseminate accurate and timely information. • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers. Ensure that communication efforts support and enhance these relationships. • Develop and implement communication strategies for managing any potential crises or issues that may impact the company’s reputation or project success. • Collaborate with project managers to communicate project updates, timelines, and key deliverables. Ensure that project-related information is conveyed clearly to stakeholders and clients. Skills and Qualifications: • 3-5 years’ experience in communications role, project management experience considered an asset. • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field. • Strong knowledge of written and digital project management tools. • Thorough understanding of the use of communications media to achieve client’s objectives. • Excellent verbal and written communication and proof-reading skills.
