Job Description Purpose: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing & Audit Specialist to join our relocation team. As a Billing & Audit Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and accurate billing of files, while adhering to established processes and guidelines. Your focus will be on avoiding any delays or penalties in the billing process and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Assist in processing invoices promptly, ensuring files are billed on time. Select the correct billing entity for each file, considering the specific requirements and agreements. Verify that the fees billed align with the latest agreed-upon rates, making necessary adjustments as needed. Ensure that referral fees are appropriately added as costs or credit notes, based on agreements with Customers. Adhere to service-level agreements and contracts with customers to meet billing deadlines and avoid any penalties. Prepare a daily report summarizing the invoices completed the previous day and track the number of jobs pending invoicing for the month. Provide an estimate of the revenue that will be generated through invoicing at the beginning of each month, based on pending jobs and agreed-upon rates. Provide a monthly report, at the beginning of each month, for the files that have been invoiced and credit notes raised Identify cost-saving opportunities and identify areas for process improvement. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Special projects and other tasks related to Relocation Dept. as required. Skills Work Requirements: Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role, with a strong focus on timely and accurate billing. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Familiarity with billing processes, would be an advantage. Proficient in using billing software and systems. Ability to follow service-level agreements and customer contracts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Proactive attitude and ability to work independently. Proficiency in PC applications such as Word, Excel, Open Office, and Windows. Candidate Requirements: Minimum 2 years of financial or accounting experience is preferred. Strong English & Math skills (written and verbal) are essential. Preference for a College degree. Excellent Customer Service Skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization. Ability to gain respect and build good relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues. Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
