Description: Reports to: Director of Fitness... Classification: Part-Time (Morning shifts, starting at 6 a.m.) The Wanderers Club is a casual, multi-generational private golf and country club in the heart of the equestrian community of Wellington, Florida. The Club’s full array of amenities and services are centered around families, sports and the equestrian lifestyle found only in Wellington. We serve a vibrant community of more than 600 Member families in areas ranging from golf, racquet, and swimming to childcare, events, and dining. OVERVIEW We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team as a Fitness Attendant at The Wanderers Club. As a key member of our Fitness Center team, you will ensure a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for all Members and guests. This is a part-time position with early morning shifts, most starting at 6 a.m. Weekend availability may be required. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness and customer service, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods and self-motivate to stay busy during slow periods. Requirements: JOB TASKS AND DUTIES • Greet Members and guests as they enter the Fitness Center, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience, using names whenever possible. • Monitor the Fitness Center to ensure members are following safety protocols and club policies. • Assist Members with equipment usage and ensure proper sanitization of all equipment before and after use. • Perform routine cleaning of the Fitness Center, including equipment, floors, mirrors, and common areas. • Maintain a safe and clean environment by removing any hazards or obstacles. • Answer general questions about Fitness Center amenities, classes, and services. • Monitor and enforce policies regarding equipment usage, proper attire, and conduct in the Fitness Center. • Assist in managing reservations for fitness classes or personal training sessions, if applicable. • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate staff. • Ensure the Fitness Center is properly stocked with towels, water, and other supplies. • Assist in light administrative tasks, such as checking in Members, scheduling, and filing waivers. QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Previous experience in customer service or fitness-related roles preferred. • Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Must be dependable and punctual, with the ability to work early morning shifts starting at 6 a.m. • Knowledge of fitness equipment and general wellness concepts is a plus. • Ability to lift and move equipment or supplies as needed (up to 25 pounds). • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus, but not required (training may be provided
