Microsoft Power Apps Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Power Apps Developer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on designing, building, and implementing custom applications in Microsoft Power Apps. Your primary objective will be to create user-friendly and efficient applications tailored to business needs, helping streamline workflows and optimize productivity. You will work closely with various departments to gather requirements, create application prototypes, and implement solutions using Power Apps. Key Responsibilities: • Application Development: • Design and develop custom applications in Power Apps (both Canvas and Model-driven apps). • Ensure applications are user-centric, responsive, and optimized for mobile and desktop use. • Create reusable components and templates within Power Apps to expedite future development. • Data Integration: • Connect Power Apps to data sources such as Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and other supported data sources. • Implement data... security, access control, and compliance measures within Power Apps applications. • Collaboration and Requirements Gathering: • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into application functionalities. • Prototype and iterate on designs with input from stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. • Testing and Deployment: • Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security. • Deploy Power Apps solutions in alignment with release schedules and manage post-launch support as needed. • Documentation and Training: • Document application configurations, user instructions, and troubleshooting guides. • Provide training sessions or user guides for end-users to ensure effective adoption and usage of Power Apps applications. • Ongoing Maintenance and Support: • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary updates to ensure continued functionality. • Gather user feedback to inform updates and enhancements to the applications. Qualifications: • Educational Background: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Technical Skills: • Strong experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven applications). • Familiarity with Power Automate for workflow automation (to complement Power Apps). • Knowledge of data modeling within Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL Server. • Proficiency in Power Fx, JavaScript, and other scripting languages relevant to Power Apps customizations. • Understanding of data security practices within Power Apps. • Experience: • 2-5 years of hands-on experience developing custom applications in Power Apps. • Demonstrated experience in gathering requirements and creating application designs aligned with business needs. • Soft Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft Power Platform or Power Apps certification. • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps). • Experience in UI/UX design to enhance the user experience within Power Apps applications.
