Who We Are: Founded by Dr. Charles F. Stanley in 1977, In Touch Ministries Canada is a Christian non-profit organization, headquartered in Atlanta, that is committed to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and strengthening the local church. Position Description: The role of the Ministry Ambassador is to communicate and build strong relationships with partners who are involved with the ministry. The Ministry Ambassador will be the point person who will initiate to reach out to ministry donors, to thank them, provide project updates, share testimonies of faith, offer prayer, and engage with by responding to feedback and inquiries. The position will ensure that In Touch Ministries’ partners are able to understand who we are, as responsible stewards of the resources that God has provided. Duties and Expectations: • To be familiar and updated with the sermons and teachings of Dr. Charles Stanley • To maintain contact with ministry partners in the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, through phone calls, personal visits and emails • To identify opportunities to discuss planned/scheduled giving with donors, being able to ask questions as you get to know our partners. • To call and pray with people about their concerns and needs whenever possible • To gain the knowledge and understanding to respond effectively to partner questions about the ministry, the teachings of Dr. Stanley, and to be ready to provide details about ministry projects and resources • To navigate In Touch’s CRM software, in order to conduct transactions and provide pertinent information • To plan and prepare for promotional events where In Touch Ministries can participate • To be prepared to work weekends and evenings as the need arises • To travel around the assigned province and visit partners when needed • To provide regular communication reports to management • To assist in office and administration tasks as needed Qualifications: • All employees must exhibit spiritual maturity and a deep understanding of our Christian faith, as part of the In Touch Ministries team • Previous fundraising, marketing, relationship management, or sales experience preferred • Experience making outgoing calls, cold calls and following up is desired • Computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and ability to learn additional CRM software • Proficient in both spoken and written English, with strong grammar and composition skills • Detail oriented and highly organized • Good interpersonal skills and collaborative work style • As a Christian organization, we require our employees to be in agreement with and willing to sign our Statement of Faith • Must be located in either Alberta or British Columbia Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract Contract length: 12 months Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Schedule: • 8 hour shift Application question(s): • Are you currently located in either Alberta or British Columbia? • Since we are a Christian organization, and prayer is an important part, would you be willing to pray with ministry partners in person or over the phone and do you agree with our Statement of Faith?
