Duration of Appointment Summer and Academic year Maximum Scheduled Weekly Hours 10 Job Description Summary Works directly with members of the Youth Climbing Team (YCT) ranging in ages 5-16 and maintains continuous presence at the climbing facility. Job Description Essential Duties -Maintain safety of YCT members during practice times -Design and provide well suited climbing instruction to YCT members -Demonstrate strong character values and determination in helping each climber develop as both a climber and person -Coordinate planned activities and facility use with other coaches -Participate in YCT trips and activities -Market the program throughout the season and as needed Minimum Qualifications Must have Belay Qualifications at Miami's Climbing Wall or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire Current CPR, First Aid, and BBP Certifications or obtain within 30 days of hire Additional Position Information (if applicable) Must be able to pass a State of Ohio Criminal Background Check Required Application Documents Resume, Posting Contact Information Bridget Woods bridget.woods@miamioh.edu Additional Information A criminal background check may be required.
