Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to assist with the development and optimization of our practitioner portal and collaborate on API partnerships with EHRs and diagnostic companies. In this pivotal role, you will shape the practitioner experience, support integration strategies, and ensure our platform remains at the forefront of personalized health solutions in the healthcare community.
Key Responsibilities:
Practitioner Portal Ownership:
- Own and enhance the practitioner portal, ensuring it is user-friendly, feature-rich, and aligned with practitioner needs.
- Gather and analyze feedback from users to continuously refine and prioritize features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing and practitioner success, to deliver high-impact solutions and growth.
- Build out our product roadmap and work with our project manager and developers to ensure we’re hitting our milestones.
Partnerships:
- Evaluate potential EHR and testing company partners and determine the best way to build out integrations with our practitioner portal.
- Define and oversee the partner API roadmap, working closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless and scalable integrations.
- Collaborate on business cases and strategies for new partnerships, ensuring alignment with company goals and development capacity.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Support in adoption and implementation of a product analytics tool- likely Mixpanel.
- Leverage usage analytics and practitioner insights to inform product development and enhancements.
- Monitor KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as the voice of the practitioner within the organization, advocating for user needs and priorities, while staying mindful of development capacity and capabilities.
- Support product vision communication and updates to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure all developments and integrations comply with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in personalized medicine, digital health, and API integration.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in health tech, B2B platforms, or API-driven environments.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with API integrations and a basic understanding of healthcare technologies (e.g., EHR systems, diagnostic tools).
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- User-Centric Approach: Proven ability to gather and act on user feedback, with a track record of delivering intuitive and impactful products.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, define KPIs, and make data-informed decisions. Bonus if you’ve led the setup of a product analytics tool like Mixpanel.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving & Organization: This role requires someone who is highly resourceful and solution-oriented. It’s also important that you’re highly organized.
- Positive Outlook: A proactive and positive personality that fosters collaboration and inspires team members.
- Education: Certificate in Product Management ideal but overall experience is most important.

- The typical base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 CDN.
- Location: Hybrid or in-person Victoria would be great, but also open to remote within Canada on Pacific time.
