Position Overview
We are seeking an E-Commerce Manager who is incredibly passionate about e-commerce and has a strong project management mindset. This individual should take great satisfaction in completing tasks and be eager to grow within the role. The ideal candidate thrives on a full plate and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The E-Commerce Manager will oversee site operations and merchandising for www.credobeauty.com. This role is pivotal in executing a digital experience strategy that drives revenue and meets brand objectives through new product launches, promotions, site exclusives, and loyalty initiatives. This role is a hybrid ideally based in NYC or SF.
A Day in the Life…
Owning the management of product assortment (core & new), overseeing promotion planning and execution, forecasting daily KPIs and sales performance, and leading the site merchandising strategy to ensure the customer experience is consistent with best practices and optimized based on performance. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility in anticipating business needs. As an e-commerce retailer, occasional evenings and/or weekend work may be required throughout the year.
Developing a merchandising strategy across all categories and A/B test the strategies. This role will be responsible for optimizing merchandising strategies to raise conversion and increase sales on credobeauty.com as well as on Credo brands.
Accountable for the end-to-end setup of all website products, homepage content updates, and promo code logic setup.
Accountable for all product image and copy updates from brands, including creating deadlines for the creative team, tracking, and updating on Shopify.
Responsible for owning the website navigation and tagging structure. Communicating to all teams when there are changes.
Responsible for tracking that product assets and copy are delivered in a timely manner from brand partners, working closely with merchandising and creative teams to ensure deadlines are met.
Responsible for uploading product reviews and rewards through our loyalty program
Will work collaboratively with marketing to brief all e-commerce specific needs to creative for but not limited to new campaigns, site-wide promotions, GWPS, etc.
Responsible for creating special categories and landing pages for emails, digital ads and trending or popular products.
Conducting weekly and monthly analysis on product sales, product page, and category conversion, homepage engagement, YOY promotional SKU sales, and other merchandising areas and supply cross functional teams with regular updates and optimization recommendations.
Working with consumer care and customer service to resolve issues and keep customers happy.
Reporting and escalating systemic issues as necessary and in a timely manner.
Collaborating closely with key stakeholders across marketing, IT, CRM, PR, merchandising, planning, and finance.
Proposing and defining the roadmap for future partner needs, working closely with any web design agencies or in-house development teams to elevate and personalize customer journey.
QA website for new launches, promotions, and new technology.
Acting as an expert and staying current on E-commerce industry trends, online competitors, and best practices for website merchandising and create a report cadence to communicate key information and enhancement proposals.

Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce, ideally with exposure to multi-brand beauty & fashion.
Motivation to be a self-starter, with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a team-player mindset.
The ability to work efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while under tight deadlines.
A self-starter attitude that is driven by creating growth who can collaborate and work with a wide range of stakeholders, including IT, Marketing Teams, Customer Service, Creative, etc.
The ability to work with cross-functional teams.
The experience working with key partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing quantitative data.
High organization skills.
Strong time management skills.
Keen intuition and strong initiative with incredible organizational skills, hustle, and impeccable attention to detail.
Experience with analytics platforms.
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
