Position: IBM DataStage and Cognos Systems Administrator Job Location: 100% Remote Pay Rate: $50/hr Project Duration: 1+ years Job Description: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing IBM Information Server environments and administering both DataStage and Cognos systems in complex, multi-server setups. This role requires expertise in system administration, server performance tuning, and production support across Windows and Linux environments. Proven experience with IBM Information Server, specifically DataStage and Cognos. Expertise in administering Cognos 11.2.x servers in multi-server environments. Experience with Motio CI integration for Cognos and continuous integration practices. Hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments, with a focus on Cognos server administration. Strong experience administering RedHat Linux environments, particularly for managing DataStage 11.7.x. Expertise in server monitoring, performance tuning, and providing production support in Linux and Windows environments. Familiarity with system backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices. Certifications in IBM DataStage, Cognos, Linux, or Windows Server. Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation. Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
