Linux Platform Engineer - £90K - Fully Remote Our client is a leading SaaS and technology company, building innovative solutions for Data Management, Analytics and Machine Learning. Offering fukllky remote working they’re looking to hire an experienced Linux Engineer and good experience across Ceph and OpenStack. From day one you’ll be involved in the design, build, implementation and support of innovative Linux systems with a focus on availability, performance, reliability, and security - From bare-metal through to virtualisation and automation. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of projects, tools and technologies and have real ownership of your work – A very varied challenge! Requirements: - Proven experience of Linux / UNIX administration and engineering - Great knowledge across RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu etc - Experience of OpenStack - Knowledge of Ceph - Knowledge of Containers (Kubernetes), Ansible and DevOps methods - Excellent communication skills and a... motivated, proactive, approach to work - The ability to take the lead on work and drive projects forwards
