JUNIOR IT AND NETWORK SUPPORT SPECIALIST

JUNIOR IT AND NETWORK SUPPORT SPECIALIST Responsibilities: · Primary support for all PC, laptops, devices, applications and other end-user concerns. · Level 1 support for network infrastructure and security (Firewalls, routers, switches, wifi access points, etc.) · Level 1 support for Windows and/or Linux servers. · Responsible for hardware and operational maintenance of IT equipment and related devices. · Educate and/or train end-users about company IT policies, procedures and security. · Coordinates procurement of hardware, software and IT related requirements of the company. · Ensure vendors, suppliers and/or providers are performing within the agreed quality and service levels. · Coordinate with company and IT Dept. management for the evaluation and implementation of new software and hardware as required by operations and end-users. · Enforce IT security and other company approved policies/procedures. · Recommend policies, procedures, technologies, methodologies and other measures to improve IT and company operations. Maintain records related to all IT functions. Qualifications: · Completed K12, Tech/Voc or equivalent course from a reputable school or training center preferred. Non-degree holders can apply if appropriate experience and skill can be verified. · At least 1-2 years experience in management of WAN, LAN, Wifi, and VLAN network. · In-depth knowledge of end user issues like desktop support, e-mail, Remote Support tools, application support, etc. · Experience in supporting Windows OS required. · Experience in supporting/administering any of the following an advantage: MAC, Linux, BSD systems. · Demonstrable skill in network design and end-point security a plus. · Willing to work during Philippine holidays, OT and shifting schedule. · Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. · Strong verbal and written communication skills.
