Fundraising and Partnership Officer

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising and Partnership Officer to join our growing Charity. The ideal candidate will work directly with the Director, while taking ownership of a variety of different events and initiatives. The applicant would become increasingly involved in community projects and related fundraising, providing a series of developing, satisfying experiences, while supporting good causes and gaining valuable experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Organizing and helping with traditional fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events, raffles, house-to-house and street collections. • Approaching individuals, local authorities, businesses and more, for sponsorship and donations. • Responsible for the fundraising strategy by encouraging donations from individuals and business. • Developing new fundraising ideas and events. • Writing proposals, event management project, management research • Writing grants applications and bid writing
