About The Role A contemporary dance company is seeking a talented composer/producer to create an original... instrumental piece for an upcoming live performance. The project requires creating a dynamic, building composition that will complement contemporary choreography while maintaining artistic sophistication and emotional depth. Responsibilities: • Compose an original 3-4 minute instrumental piece • Create a dynamic arrangement with clear dramatic progression • Produce high-quality recordings suitable for live performance • Collaborate with choreographers to align music with movement • Provide all necessary licensing for live performance use Requirements • Proven experience in composing instrumental music • Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across genres • Experience in indie/folk, classical, or ambient/electronic styles • Understanding of dance performance needs • Ability to create building, dynamic compositions • Knowledge of music licensing for live performances
