We are looking for a Backend Engineer for our Helpdesk Platform team. The quality and efficiency of our Customer Support work are critically important to Tabby, and Helpdesk Platform team is responsible for developing and evolving the internal Customer Support platform. Our main goals are to enhance the quality of support services, reduce routine tasks through automation and improved UI/UX, increase agent efficiency, and provide greater transparency of results to supervisors. Another key focus is developing an employee motivation system. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement new backend logic using a modern tech stack. • Optimize data structures for performance and efficiency. • Integrate services with other teams and third-party systems via APIs. • Monitor system efficiency and performance. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and errors. • Conduct code reviews for other backend engineers. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise • Strong coding ability in Golang; • 3+ years or experience as a hands-on Software Engineer (IC); 2 years of GoLang experience; • Profound experience with product development lifecycle; • An ownership mentality (accountability, proactive, enthusiastic and independent) • A feedback driven approach to growth; • A focus on supporting the engineers you work with and their careers; • A passion for writing clean and testable code; • Fluent English level (B2). Our employees have the opportunity to choose a country for registration: at the moment those are Armenia/Georgia/Serbia/Portugal/Spain. We will help you open a legal entity and a bank account. In Armenia and Georgia the taxes are compensated by Tabby. In other countries we provide partial compensation of taxes. We employ according to B2B contracts (service agreements). For our employees we cover the following: • Flight to one of the mentioned countries. • Accommodation during the paperwork completion period. • Opening a bank account and getting a residence permit in one of the mentioned countries. • Family relocation (dependants). New employees can also choose an alternative method of relocation to another country of their choice. In this case, Tabby will reimburse up to $5,000 of verified costs upon opening a legal entity and a bank account.
