Renal Registered Nurses Needed in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia on an Agency Contract BasisCuris Recruitment is proud to partner with this fantastic health service in Western Australia to help them find a Renal Registered Nurse to join their team on an Agency contract basis.
Job Details
• November starts available
• $80.08 per hour base plus penalties and 11% superannuation
• 4 -12-week contracts available
• Fully furnished housing provided
• Return travel provided
• Two paid travel days provided
As the Renal Registered Nurse your role will be to deliver culturally safe nursing care in accordance with unit protocols and best practice guidelines.
Some of the main responsibilities are:
• Supervise new staff and assist in their education
• Provide a holistic approach to client care, contributing to the multidisciplinary team and making referrals as needed
• Take a Shift Coordinator role
• Contribute to the development and implementation of continuous quality improvement at... the Renal Health Centre
The Location
You will be based in the heart of the Kimberley Region. With some of the most diverse and breathtaking landscapes in the world, the Kimberley truly is a must-see destination.
Waterfalls, ancient Aboriginal rock art, wonderful wildlife, freshwater swimming holes and white sandy beaches; the Kimberley region has it all. Immerse yourself in this nature-lovers’ wonderland on a coastline cruise.
You will be working for a Renal Service which includes 4 Renal Health Centres based in Fitzroy Crossing, Broome, Kununurra, and Derby and a mobile prevention unit. The incidence of kidney disease in the Kimberley is one of the highest in Australia. Chronic Kidney disease (CKD) and End-Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) incidence within the Aboriginal population of the Kimberley greatly exceeds the national burden of disease. Dialysis prevalence for this region has more than tripled in the last decade and is increasing at a much faster rate than in the rest of Western Australia (WA).
To be eligible for this position you must
• Have full AHPRA registration with no restrictions
• Have a minimum of 6 months recent Renal RN experience.
• Candidates with at least 18 months current experience in haemodialysis nursing or working towards a Certificate in Nephrology will be highly regarded.
• Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
