Our US Partner operates within the market research and consulting industry, specializing in delivering data-driven insights to help companies make informed business decisions. The firm is engaged in providing qualitative and quantitative research, customer experience measurement, and strategic consulting services across multiple industries, including but not limited to Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail , Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals, Technology and Financial Services. The Market Research Assistant will play a vital role in assisting the Market Research team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support key business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in market trends, consumer behavior, and data analysis. You will be responsible for a range of... tasks that include data collection, survey design, market trend analysis, report preparation, and more. Key Responsibilities: • Data Collection & Analysis: • Assist in gathering primary and secondary data through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and online sources. • Conduct desk research to gather relevant market intelligence, including competitor analysis, industry reports, and customer demographics. • Organize and maintain data sets, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Survey and Questionnaire Design: • Collaborate with the research team to develop surveys and questionnaires that meet the objectives of each research project. • Administer surveys and coordinate with respondents, ensuring high response rates and quality data collection. • Data Entry and Management: • Input and organize survey responses and other research data into databases or analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Google Sheets). • Clean and validate data to ensure consistency and accuracy. • Market Trend Monitoring: • Monitor industry trends and emerging markets to provide insights that could influence business strategy. • Stay up-to-date with competitor activities and market shifts that could impact the company's positioning. • Report Preparation: • Assist in preparing comprehensive research reports and presentations summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations. • Help visualize data and create charts, graphs, and tables to present results in an understandable and visually appealing format. • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to understand business needs and help deliver relevant research outcomes. • Assist in preparing internal presentations and briefings to share research findings with stakeholders. • Administrative Support: • Provide general administrative support to the market research department, including scheduling meetings, coordinating focus groups, and maintaining research libraries. • Quality Control: • Ensure that all research processes, from data collection to reporting, meet internal quality standards. • Help review the accuracy of the findings and ensure alignment with the project objectives. Qualifications: • Education: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. • Relevant coursework or certifications in market research, data analysis, or related areas is a plus. • Experience: • Previous experience in market research, data analysis, or a related field is preferred but not required. • Familiarity with market research methods and techniques is an advantage. • Technical Skills: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Google Workspace is a plus. • Familiarity with data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Tableau) or survey platforms (SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics) is desirable. • Key Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to present data findings in a clear and concise manner. • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
