Job Advert Working with the Sales Team, Product Teams and the rest of the Customer Delivery team on pre- and post-sales opportunities, projects and support to help define, scope and implement the best solutions for both the internal customer and external customers, this is a critical role in TSL’s ability to meet its growth ambitions by adding value across the customer base and then monetising that value on an increasingly recurring revenue base. Key Responsibilities: • Be an ambassador trusted advisor for the TSL portfolio at channel partners and end-customers across Asia & Australasia. Through discussions on-line and, when required and justifiable, face to-face meetings to develop proposals that will meet customer requirements for their projects. • Generate accurate and commercially attractive responses to RFI and RFP documents. • Produce SOW documents with clear responsibilities, deliverables, timelines, and minimum risk. • Play a supporting role to the sales team in the promotion of the product line on customer premises and at exhibitions. Through consultative sales engagement help the customer achieve the best solution to their problem and support sales with quoting accurately and converting opportunities to POs. • Hands-on implementation with customers where configuration/commissioning support is required (and purchased!) • Take on and resolve Tier 2 & above post-sales support enquiries. If resourcing requires, may occasionally need to take on some lower tier tickets. • Assist with exhibition planning and configuration of the equipment. • Working with the Product Manager and Development teams identify and communicate areas of future product improvement, playing a role in the specification of the product and making sure it is aligned with the customer’s requirements. • Help in the specification and creation of sales demonstration tools and templates so that the sales team can reach an advanced point in the sales process before requiring technical pre-sales support. • Create training material that can be used by the team to develop the skills of our partner System Integrators, end-customers and internal resources in the configuration of Systems so that they can undertake complex integrations with the minimum level of assistance • Undertake customer training courses and ‘train the trainer’ sessions so that the opportunities to develop the knowledge base are maximised • Work with the Marketing team in the creation of case studies to support the promotion of the Control Systems product line. Key Skills/Attributes • Significant engineering experience in the broadcast sector, either with a broadcaster, systems integrator, or product manufacturer. Ideally 5 years +. • An understanding of IP networking fundamentals and experience in defining and deploying IP solutions, ideally including Audio over IP. • An understanding of where at least two from three TSL product lines typically sit in a broadcast workflow and the technology involved therein. • An ability and desire to quickly learn the fundamentals of all TSL’s core technology in Audio, Control & Power. • Degree or equivalent level engineering qualification • Detail oriented, high level of accuracy, well organised, PC literate • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a cross-functional team • Excellent communicator, well presented, able to communicate to all levels in an organisation and clearly articulate complex ideas. • Takes ownership, flexible approach, and willingness to undertake ad hoc duties as required. • Willingness to travel is essential – expectation min.30% TSL Professional Products Ltd is a company that designs, manufactures, markets and sells sophisticated electronic equipment and software solutions to broadcast end-customers worldwide.
