Job Family Summary Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Develops specifications for new contract orders. Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise wide systems. Level Summary A skilled supply chain specialist that completes tasks in a resourceful & effective way. Responsible for the weekly planning and delivery of technical, operative or administrative services. Learns to use/apply professional concepts or develops professional expertise, interpreting and using company policies and practices to resolve issues on a variety of problems in own discipline/specialist area. Adapts practices within company policies using acquired techniques to complete complex assignments and achieve goals. Collaboratively works on problems where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises independent judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions that may significantly impact business operations. Recognized by peers to be credible and leader of some team efforts. Roles & Responsibilities May lead and/or coordinate some team efforts; builds productive internal/external working relationships. Accomplishes operational and/or functional objectives that enable successful execution of department goals; achieves KPIs and action plans. Manages critical planning and delivery tasks. Executes, coordinates, and follows up on daily production schedule. Coordinates and develops production schedules by collecting data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for overall improvements. Assists Supervisor by informing and updating about priorities according to production plan. Prioritizes Inventory Management in accordance with demand and coordination of raw materials while overseeing opportunities for reducing operational costs and productivity gain with other related departments. Assists with delivery scheduling process and tracks and reports inventory. Provides a support role in promoting planning concepts, management and alignment throughout multiple sites, organizations, and businesses. Education Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
