Kindegarten-5th Grade Reading & Math Tutor (Virtual)

• Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our team and provide educational support to students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess a passion for helping students reach their academic goals. • Responsibilities* - Develop personalized learning plans based on students' needs - Assist students in understanding subject-specific content - Implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes - Provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians - Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly - Create engaging and interactive learning experiences • Requirements* - Experience working with students in a tutoring or classroom setting - Proficiency in classroom management techniques - Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning - Familiarity with learning technology and tools - Background in early childhood education or related field is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Job Types: Part-time, Contract Expected hours: 12 – 16 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule Schedule: • After school Application Question(s): • Do you have experience teaching in Title 1, Charter, or Urban schools? • Do you have experience working with children who have IEPs and/or need intense remediation? • We are looking for someone who is available to tutor at least 12 hours a week.
