JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Borrelli Institute for Real Estate Studies is seeking a part-time employee to serve as the manager for the Real Estate Boot Camp. Responsibilities associated with this assignment include, but are not limited to: Plan and deliver the 5-8 Real Estate Boot Camp activities per semester. These activities may include: trainings, presentations by guest speakers, virtual and/or in-person career expos or fairs, and site visits for professional development and networking. Coordinate with alumni, recruiters, industry professionals, and real estate professional organizations to offer career preparedness and exploration opportunities for students. Advise graduate and undergraduate students on resume preparation, job search strategies in the real estate industry, and co-curricular activities for career preparation. Coordinate actives with the Borrelli Institute Director, staff, and real estate faculty in the Department of Risk Management at the Smeal College of Business. The position will require significant coordination with the Institute staff to plan logistics associated with boot camp sessions. A Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 4+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Preference will be given for experience in the real estate industry. Review of materials will begin immediately.
