Social Media Coordinator
In this role, you will manage and maintain our social media channels, ensuring a consistent message and engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn. You'll be responsible for creating, scheduling and publishing posts, monitoring trends and competitor activities, and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
• Social Media Management: Plan, create, and schedule social media posts across various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
• Content Creation: Develop engaging and relevant content, including graphics, video and written copy with the company’s resources, to be used in social media posts, blog articles, and other marketing materials.
• Community Engagement: Monitor comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms, responding to inquiries, comments, and messages promptly and engaging with the audience to build a strong community.
• Analytics and Reporting: Analyse social media metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports to measure the success of campaigns and strategies, making data-driven decisions for future improvements.
• Campaign Execution: Plan and execute social media paid advertising campaigns, from brainstorming ideas to coordinating with the design team, setting up ad placements, and monitoring campaign performance.
• Influencer Collaboration: Identify and reach out to potential influencers or brand advocates for partnerships, negotiate collaboration terms, and manage influencer relationships to expand brand reach.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust marketing strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge.
• Content Calendar Management: Maintain an organized content calendar that outlines upcoming campaigns, posts, and events, ensuring a consistent posting schedule and content alignment with overall marketing goals.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as design and operations to align marketing efforts with company objectives and ensure a cohesive brand presence across all channels.
Requirements
• To be successful in this role: You will need a minimum of 2 years social media management experience and user experience across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tik Tok.
• Strong technical knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Instagram for Business, LinkedIn Business or similar management platforms.
• Previous experience within Retail or Hospitality and have a passion for food!
• Strong creative and copywriting skills
• Ability to create and edit graphics
• Strong project management and planning skills
• Organisational skills – the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a busy team
