[Remote] Senior Middleware Services Engineer (1 Year Contract)

Responsibilities: • Installation and configuration of Apache Tomcat with best practices. • SSL Setup: Liaising with internal Certificate Authority team, enabling SSL certificates, and ensuring security settings are implemented. • Version upgrades of Apache Tomcat to address obsolescence and remediate vulnerabilities. • IIS Installation and SSL Setup for .NET applications. • WinRM Configuration for enabling remote deployment through CICD tools. • Production deployments on EKS and configmap maintenance for EKS applications. • Placeholder management: Creation and updating of placeholders in XLDeploy for Tomcat and IIS applications. • HTTPD and PHP application support: Handling deployments and config file updates across environments. • Advanced troubleshooting for application issues, including 5xx errors and Jenkins deployments. • Monitoring alerts through Zabbix for SSL, URL, and process monitoring, as well as external server disk space. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in middleware management and related technologies. • Certifications in relevant middleware technologies (e.g., Apache Tomcat, IIS, Kubernetes). • Advanced certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus. • Proven expertise in designing, installing, and managing complex middleware systems. • Experience in managing SSL setups, certificate management, and advanced troubleshooting. • Experience with containerized environments, especially EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service). • Significant experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and XLDeploy. • Prior experience with HTTPD, PHP, and batch job deployments is preferred.
