About the Opportunity We are seeking a talented and creative eLearning Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative e-learning solutions that enhance our employees’ and our software users’ training and development. The eLearning Developer works under the guidance of our Director of Product and collaborates with other subject matter experts and stakeholders to create engaging and effective learning experiences. The eLearning Developer’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Design and develop interactive e-learning courses, modules, and simulations in our TalentLMS platform. • Create engaging learning experiences through a variety of media, including video, audio, and interactive elements. • Ensure e-learning content is visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligns with our brand guidelines. • Update existing courses as needed to ensure that content is always current as new software versions are released. • Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex technical information into clear and concise learning content. • Write clear, concise, and engaging scripts and narration for e-learning modules. • Develop assessments and quizzes to measure learner understanding and retention. • Organize and categorize all e-learning modules and coursework such that different user types may engage with coursework most relevant to their role. • Establish certification levels and learning paths. Define certification criteria and author tests accordingly. Track and report on user certification statuses over time. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of e-learning solutions. • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the functionality and effectiveness of e-learning content. The ideal candidate is an ambitious, seasoned eLearning professional who relishes the opportunity to collaborate with all departments within PlanetTogether to develop and deliver quality learning experiences. To succeed, the eLearning Developer must be comfortable developing technical eLearning content and be able to handle multiple requests and competing priorities with grace and a sense of urgency. This position reports into and works closely with PlanetTogether's Director of Product. In general, we're looking for team members whose equilibrium is juggling multiple projects and priorities while delivering quality solutions. Strong candidates will possess an innate ability to set the standard and strive for excellence every minute of the day. To succeed at PlanetTogether, candidates should be incredible critical thinkers, relentless problem solvers, and maintain a positive image and attitude. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or higher. • 2+ years of experience in e-learning development of software or similarly technical content. • Proficiency in authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or other relevant software. • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories. • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Passion for creating innovative and engaging learning experiences. • Native-level fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) and comfortable speaking with colleagues, partners, and clients across all mediums. • Experience working in supply chain technology or manufacturing is a major plus.
