Remote Java Developer Position with Competitive Salary

We are looking for a skilled Remote Java Developer to join our E-Merge team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java, J2EE and experience in the fintech environment. The role offers a competitive salary of approximately R800k per annum. Key responsibilities include: • Afrikaans language skills are essential • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development using Java • Experience in building and maintaining web applications with HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery • Familiarity with the MVC design pattern and frameworks such as Struts and Spring MVC • Proficiency in writing unit test cases with JUnit • Experience in building RESTful Web Services using JSON • Familiarity with JPA and PostgreSQL database • Experience with version control systems like GitHub • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and principles This position requires a strong problem-solver with excellent communication skills and collaboration abilities.
