Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Consultant, Organization Transformation & Change to support KPS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

A federal agency is pursuing the procurement of an organizational change management (OCM) support contract to evaluate employee engagement responses, gain a deeper understanding, and address areas of performance and sentiment that need improvement.
The OCM Consultant will support aspects of change management activities across the organization. This position will report to the Organizational Change Management Lead and support the office's transformation efforts.
The Change Management consultant will assess the Office’s current state, identify and align stakeholders, and work with the larger team to design change management strategies that transform working ways to empower teams and accelerate innovation.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Assist in developing and implementing change management strategies and plans tailored to the needs and culture of federal government agencies.
• Support the creation and delivery of change-related communications, including presentations, emails, and other materials to various stakeholder groups.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and mapping to identify key individuals and groups affected by organizational changes.
• Facilitate change readiness assessments and analyze results to inform change management approaches.
• Assist in designing and delivering change management workshops and focus groups for federal employees at various levels.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including change impact assessments, risk mitigation plans, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure change management activities align with overall project goals and timelines.
• Support the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of change management initiatives.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing feedback from stakeholders to improve change management processes and outcomes continuously.
• Contribute to developing change management best practices and lessons learned for future federal government projects.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Continuous learner that integrates change management best practices into ways of working
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Org Development, Org Change Management, HR, Psychology, or related field
• OR 10-15 years of experience in an OCM-related field.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• 2-4 years of experience in Corporate Human Resources, Learning and Development, or in strategy consulting with government or commercial clients.
• Understanding of and experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong active listening skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
• Willingness to gain an understanding of government consulting.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
