Background Founded in 2003, the mission of the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC) is to improve access to, and quality of treatment services for people living with HIV (PLHIV). The organization is a network of global activists, who joined forces to advocate for equitable access to treatment, at a time when communities faced significant financial and logistical barriers to accessing HIV treatment - despite effective medicines being available. As an issue-based organization, ITPC’s reach includes expanding access to high quality services for key populations, people living with tuberculosis (TB) and viral hepatitis (VH). ITPC works with many global consortiums and country partners. We therefore require a consultant who will assist with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of our programmes and support with ITPC’s Community Led-Monitoring (CLM) model. Consultant Scope of Work ITPC is seeking a Social media and Web Content Specialist to ITPC to: 1. Develop and manage... content for all ITPC communications on social media platforms (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Mailchimp and Listserv etc.). Tasks include: a. Review ITPC’s program and organizational content b. Development and/or harvesting of ITPC program and strategic data into web/media content (i.e. tweets, Facebook messages, etc.) c. Develop content generation and posting schedule 2. Publish original content provided by ITPC in content management systems to create pages, build and/or edit graphics 3. Use appropriate software to maintain continuity of website themes, design layouts, eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information, and streamline navigation 4. Compile relevant insights from Google Analytics and submit regular reports on ITPC websites’ content performance, referral sources, traffic analysis and audience engagement 5. Increase online marketing presence and Optimise the user experience of ITPC’s social media platforms. Tasks will include a. Review / audit of ITPC social media platforms to identify areas of improvement needed b. Enhance the discoverability of ITPC website content, increase web traffic and audience engagement through search engine optimization (SEO) and other tactics c. Create and implement strategies to increase website traffic d. Extract relevant insights from search engine analytics to optimize performance e. Maintain up-to-date awareness of online marketing techniques, to help increase online audience engagement 6. Provide ongoing support to ITPC Global team staff as required. The consultant will be required to assist with activities based on donor – funding relevant to project deliverables. Required Skills • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field. • 3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or Non profit organisation setting. • Knowledge of digital marketing trends. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy. • Experience using various analytics software. • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS. • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
