Job Description As a Senior Designer at Payflow, you will play a key role in designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and delightful experiences for our web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including a product manager and engineers, to deliver impactful designs that meet the needs of our SMB users. Your deep expertise in user-centered design principles and your ability to create high-fidelity designs will help us build products that are not only functional but also beautiful and easy to use. Key... Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end design process for web applications, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity design and implementation. • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features and product iterations. • Conduct user research, including usability testing and user interviews, to gather insights and validate design concepts. • Work with engineering teams to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and consistently, with a focus on usability and performance. • Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, business needs, and technical constraints. • Champion user-centered design practices within the team and contribute to building a design system that ensures consistency across products. • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and bring new ideas and innovations to the team. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. • Experience: • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in UX/UI design and interaction design. • Proven experience designing complex web applications, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or accounting products. • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. • Experience in designing with a mobile-first and responsive design approach. • Familiarity with design systems, user research, and usability testing. • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams with product managers and engineers. • Skills: • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to design intuitive solutions to complex user problems. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful, user-friendly designs that meet the needs of users and the business. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. • A deep understanding of accounting and bookkeeping concepts is a plus, but not required. A willingness to learn is essential.
