They are stable and have been profitable for 10 years, investing heavily in growth and expansion.OVERVIEW: The client is a tech-enabled e-commerce company building out their internal web application with proprietary tooling and a broad range of features for our employees and partners. They are operating at a large scale and have outgrown the existing e-commerce tools in the market and so they are building their own to operate at top efficiency. The responsibilities of the role are mostly back-end (Python/Django/Postgres/AWS) with minimal front-end (HTMX, Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS). No React is required. They are looking for a developer who can take ownership of tasks and operate autonomously without needing a lot of management. This means being able to deliver quality work and not need too much direction, management, or external QA. They use Asana for task management and MS Teams for communication.
