Startup Coordinator – E-commerce & Market Validation

Job Summary: We are a startup in the early stages of launching a premium eco-friendly yoga mat business. We are seeking a motivated and resourceful individual to help validate our business idea and establish the online presence of our brand. This role requires a mix of research, digital marketing, and operational skills to ensure the business is set up for success. Key Responsibilities: 1. Market Validation: Conduct market research to analyze demand for eco-friendly yoga mats in the UAE and GCC. Identify target customer segments and assess competitor pricing and strategies. Test the market using small-scale ad campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to measure interest and collect data. Gather and analyze customer feedback from early inquiries or social media engagement. 2. E-commerce Setup: Assist in setting up and managing the e-commerce platform (Shopify, Wix, or WooCommerce). Coordinate with suppliers for product sourcing, pricing, and shipping logistics. Upload product listings with optimized descriptions, images, and pricing. 3. Digital Marketing: Manage the company’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook) by posting content, engaging with followers, and growing the audience. Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic to the website. Track and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics. 4. Operational Support: Handle day-to-day customer inquiries and provide excellent support. Coordinate with suppliers and shipping providers to ensure smooth order fulfillment (if applicable). Assist with creating a system for tracking orders and inventory. Requirements: Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms like Shopify or Wix. Experience in digital marketing (social media, Google Ads, or Facebook Ads). Analytical mindset to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication skills (English required, Arabic is a plus). Interest in health, wellness, or eco-friendly products is a bonus. Preferred Experience: Previous experience in startups or e-commerce businesses. Familiarity with market research tools and techniques. Knowledge of SEO and content optimization.
