RDS Oracle DBA Support Engineer

An RDS Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) on AWS is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of Oracle database systems running on Amazon Web Services (AWS). DBAs work to ensure that databases are available, performant, and secure. They also play a key role in database performance tuning, disaster recovery planning, and capacity planning. Design and implement Oracle database architectures on AWS Migrate Oracle databases to AWS Manage Oracle database instances on AWS RDS, EBS, and EC2 Use AWS Cloud Formation to automate the deployment and management of Oracle database infrastructure Use AWS Cloud Watch to monitor Oracle database performance and health Use AWS Backup to back up and restore Oracle databases Use AWS KMS to manage Oracle database encryption keys Work with developers to design and implement new database features on AWS Provide technical support to Oracle database users on AWS Performance tuning Scripting knowledge Experience... with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) Experience with AWS CloudFormation templates for Oracle databases Experience with AWS CloudWatch metrics and alarms for Oracle databases Experience with AWS Backup for Oracle databases Experience with AWS KMS for Oracle database encryption Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager on AWS Experience with Oracle Data Guard on AWS Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and administration on AWS Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Experience with Oracle database performance tuning and troubleshooting on AWS Experience with Oracle database backup and recovery on AWS Experience with Oracle database security on AWS Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year Benefits: • Paid sick time • Work from home Schedule: • Day shift • Rotational shift Supplemental Pay: • Shift allowance Application Question(s): • How many years of experience do you have in Amazon RDS? • How many years of experience do you have in Oracle DBA?
