Overview of Job Responsible for reviewing residential mortgage appraisal reviews to ensure those reports are UDAP compliant and meet company, and investor specific guidelines, as well as government requirements. • The role involves analyzing data, identifying discrepancies, and providing feedback to appraiser to ensure high-quality and reliable appraisals. • The position involves preparing appraisal review reports that approve, disapprove, or recommend modifications to an appraisal report, and to provide guidance to appraisers to resolve appraisal situations. • The position requires experience in FNMA’s Collateral Underwriter Scores and other data/tools used by FNMA/FHLMC in evaluation of Collateral Risk. • This position requires excellent analytical skills, time management, a deep understanding of real estate markets, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders Previous Experience • Minimum High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Real Estate Property appraising • Preferred but not required Area of Experience: Appraisal review in a financial institution • License or Certification Type: State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, having met all specialized education, testing, and appraisal experience requirements as set forth by The Appraiser Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation and the State(s) in which certified Required Mr. Cooper Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
