eCommerce Customer Service & Order Fulfillment Representative
Job Summary:
Responsible for processing and fulfilling eCommerce orders and handling complaints, errors, order questions, billing, cancellations, and other queries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Fulfill eCommerce orders using an ERP system, eComm selling platforms, ticket management system, etc.
• View, update and print or route order tickets
• Answer and resolve buyer issues and complaints via phone, email and SMS
• Arrange shipping or freight
• Suggest alternatives when an item unavailable or discontinued
• Communicate with customers via phone and email
• Assist with placement of orders, cancellations, or exchanges
• Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling
• Understand and advise customers on online policies (shipping, returns, dates, etc.)
• Answer questions about terms of sale
• Attempt to persuade customer to reconsider cancellation
• Inform customers of deals and promotions
• Up-sell/cross-sell products and services
• Work with eCommerce Customer Service & Order Fulfillment Supervisor to ensure proper customer service is being delivered and processes and procedures are being followed
• Work with Data Specialists when SKUs or Inventory are incorrect
• Work with eSales when pricing needs to be adjusted to ensure profitability
Preferred:
• Outstanding communication skills
• Customer Service background
• Familiarity with eCommerce Selling Platforms (Amazon, Shopify, etc.)
Working Conditions: Office Environment, usually at a desk
Physical Requirements: Sitting for periods of time
