This position is responsible for account receivable activity tied to a specific market. They will be a key partner to the experience manager supporting strategic planning to improve provider experience. Will support and ensure timely responses are provided related to provider onboarding, claims issues, and compliance overview. Provides direction and guidance regarding policies, procedures, workflows, claim service quality, and training needs. Regularly meets with assigned Health Care Professionals to discuss results, review issue trends, and develop action plans for improvement. Engages matrix partners to achieve service improvements and minimize contract interpretation issues. Communicates and educates internally regarding issues/trends to minimize errors and improve claim accuracy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Serves as a key member of the account management team responsible for AR Management • Collaborates with experience manager and matrix partners to identify, resolve and improve open issues. • Drives root cause analysis for open AR and billing related errors • Develops actions plan and/or project plan to resolve trends identified and impacting at a segment level • Works with account management team to proactively make recommendations on changes to improve service levels based upon root cause • Achieves and or exceeds Service Level Agreements • Provides current and appropriate education to provider as it relates to Medicare and internal policy updates • Participates in face to face meetings with EM as needed to act as an AR SME • Other tasks as assigned POSITION REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required • 3+ years of Medicare experience preferred • 3+ years working in health care service delivery, network development or contract management preferred • Experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Strong producer and drives network initiatives to ensure operating targets are achieved to position Cigna's networks as the network of choice by Providers and Customers • Extremely knowledgeable of Medicare health plan administrative and operational requirements • Problem solving skills including the ability to systematically analyze complex problems • Work in a highly matrixed environment. Ability to multi-task, shifting effectively among multiple activities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand as well as the ability to understand and interpret complex information from others • Experience building strong, positive relationships with providers • Strong influencing/negotiation skills • Up to 25% travel may be required. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 58,100 - 96,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
